SALA VERETTE

The Sala Verette is the nearest space to the secretary’s office of the Sala Europa and it can be used as independent congress room or as ancillary room. The name “Verette” derives from the definition given to the darts or arrows (veretta), launched from the crossbow.

The ancient Palio della Balestra (Crossbow Competition) still takes place today between Gubbio’s and Sansepolcros’ arbalesters and represents a very lively and cherished tradition.
